We are looking for a Middleware Software Development Lead – Cybersecurity to join a project with a major OEM. In this role, you will design, develop, and integrate middleware layers on high-performance automotive platforms across domains such as body control, infotainment, and instrument clusters. You will work with Adaptive AUTOSAR, QNX/Linux, and RTOS-based systems while embedding cybersecurity and functional safety principles into the software architecture.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate middleware for SoC-based high-performance compute platforms
- Architect software in SysML/arxml with a focus on cybersecurity and functional safety
- Configure and develop middleware solutions such as Adaptive AUTOSAR
- Translate signal-based designs into service-oriented architectures
- Collaborate with cross-domain teams (infotainment, body electronics, clusters, safety) for seamless middleware integration
- Develop and optimize software for QNX, Linux, and RTOS environments
- Implement secure coding practices and contribute to compliance with automotive cybersecurity standards
- Utilize tools such as Rhapsody, GitHub, Davinci Adaptive, CMake build systems, and unit testing frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, or related field
- 8–12 years of embedded software development, preferably in automotive applications
- Strong skills in C++ (C optional) and UML/software design
- Proficiency with OS architectures (QNX, Linux, RTOS)
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and practices
- Experience with Adaptive AUTOSAR middleware architectures and configuration tools
- Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet)
- Experience with software tools: Rhapsody (or similar), GitHub, Davinci Adaptive, CMake
Preferred:
- Experience on HPCs or SoC-based ECUs
- Experience with Linux/QNX embedded systems
- Familiarity with fast-paced, Agile environments
