As a Lead Software Engineer- Product Test within Chase UK, you will champion quality outcomes and empower developers with innovative testing tools. You will define quality processes, identify gaps and risks, and implement tools to support developers in our quality assist model. Your role will involve collaborating with product owners to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with product goals, contributing to the development of test data frameworks, and leading continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Champion a test mindset across unit, integration, functional, non-functional, and compliance testing.
• Develop and maintain test strategy, practice, and compliance plans.
• Train teams on controls expectations, test strategy, and shift-left testing practices.
• Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate quality goals, outcomes, and progress to stakeholders.
• Review quality outcomes and develop action plans to address gaps and risks.
• Contribute to the development of test data frameworks, tools, and controls automation.
• Collaborate with product owners to define service-wide tests for product areas.
  
  

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Formal training or certification on computer science concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, React Native, Salesforce, Python, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in testing tools like Junit, TestNG, Playwright, Cucumber, WebDriverIO, Appium, and RestAssured.
• Understanding of cloud technologies and platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub and CI/CD tools like Harness and CloudBees.
• Familiarity with Spring framework and dependency injection.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and practices.
• Experience in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to automate deployment, releases, and testing in CI/CD pipelines.
