Impact

In this role, you will be responsible for actively preventing and detecting fraudulent activities within the bank, aiming to reduce financial losses, operational expenses, and reputational damage, while ensuring the security of customer assets

Key Deliverables (Duties And Responsibilities)

• Participate in the design, implementation, and testing of highly scalable and fault-tolerant distributed components, using functional programming paradigms, APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns
• Convert business requirements into technical requirements, design, and develop system acceptance criteria, functional test plans, with a focus on coverage, performance, and automation
• Collaborate with multiple teams across Development, Operations & Infrastructure, and Product to analyze, debug, and resolve design and code issues. Support cross-functional teams in integrated test efforts.
• Identify process improvements, error trends, and root causes, making recommendations for remedies to colleagues and management.
• Contribute to an efficient development process pipeline by leveraging best-in-class CI/CD tools and implement scalable, reusable test automation frameworks.
• Document processes, designs, test results, and analysis.
• Develop and execute chaos test suites for business services and infrastructure.
• Perform quality assurance testing, including unit, system, integration, and regression testing. Support the development of test automation.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to analyze, debug, and resolve application issues
• Lead test automation efforts, explore new test automation tools and methods, and define the automation strategy/plan
  
  

Skills And Qualification (Functional And Technical Skills)

Qualification

• Bachelor’s in computer science or engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development lifecycle.
  
  

Skills

• 7+ years of demonstrated experience in in writing clean scripts/code quickly, preferably Java coding, test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution of large scale, distributed cloud based software systems to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control.
• 4 years of hands-on experience in using any programming language like Java or C#, VB Scripts and and UI test automation is required.
• 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation tools Selenium, HP UFT (HP ALM and HP LoadRunner) is required.
• 4 years of experience in automation framework development (ex: robot framework, Gatling, JMeter, Zap).
• Hands on experience in test automation tools Selenium, HP UFT (HP ALM and HP LoadRunner) is required.
• Hands on experience in Java Programming, VBScripts and UI test automation is required.
• Must Have technical skills: Bdd, Selenium Webdriver, Selenium, Jenkins, Git, CICD, Database experience (SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience working with NoSQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL
• Experience working on Kubernetes Containerized infrastructure is a big plus
• Experience in continuous integration (ex: Jenkins)
• Experience with JIRA and ALM
• Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, application design, and implementing large components for enterprise projects
• Exposure to Test Driven Development
• Exposure to Micro Services based architecture
• Exposure to CI/CD / Code Coverage / Static Code analysis Tools
• Knowledge of ISO 8583, SOAP, XML messaging, REST, JSON
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively with a globally distributed team
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed database, distributed computing and high frequency transactions
• Experience testing Payment Systems, APIs, Microservices
• Knowledge of Bitbucket and Maven
• Experience in system automation using framework such as Cucumber Knowledge of functional programming languages like Go, Scala
