Job Description

Position: Junior SAP OpenText/DMS Consultant (Application Management Services)

Experience: 1-3 Years

Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore

Job Summary

We are seeking an SAP OpenText/DMS Consultant with 1-3 years of experience to support our Application Management Services (AMS) team. The ideal candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP OpenText Document Management System (DMS), Archive Server, and SAP DMS (Document Management System) solutions. This role involves incident resolution, bug fixes, minor enhancements, and documentation in a managed services environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• SAP OpenText DMS & Archive Server Support
• Provide L2/L3 support for SAP OpenText Document Management (DMS) and Archive Server
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
• Document uploads, retrievals, and indexing
• Integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, HR, etc.)
• ArchiveLink configurations and retrieval issues
• Monitor and maintain OpenText Archive Server jobs and workflows
• Assist in user access management and security configurations
• Perform data consistency checks between SAP and OpenText
• SAP DMS (Document Management System) Support
• Support SAP DMS functionalities (document creation, classification, versioning)
• Troubleshoot document links, status issues, and workflow errors
• Assist in DMS master data (document types, classes, characteristics) maintenance
• Fix issues related to CAD integrations (if applicable)
• Bug Fixes & Minor Enhancements
• Analyze and resolve defects in document management processes
• Implement small enhancements (e.g., new document types, indexing rules)
• Support OpenText/SAP patch and upgrade testing
• Assist in custom report development for document tracking
• AMS Operations & Compliance
• Follow ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
• Ensure compliance with data retention and archiving policies
• Participate in monthly service reviews with stakeholders
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience with:
• SAP OpenText DMS & Archive Server
• SAP DMS (Document Management System)
• Basic understanding of:
• ArchiveLink configuration
• SAP workflow integration
• SAP security roles for document access
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
