Lincode Labs - Junior AI Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a fresher / entry-level AI Engineer who is passionate about computer vision and has done projects or internships on NVIDIA Jetson platforms (Nano, Xavier, Orin). You will be part of our engineering team building real-time AI solutions for manufacturing and industrial automation.

This role is a great opportunity to learn how AI models are developed, optimized, and deployed at the edge, while working with cutting-edge vision hardware and real customer applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and testing vision models for defect detection, OCR, and object recognition.
• Work on preprocessing pipelines (image cleaning, augmentation) for improving model accuracy.
• Deploy trained models on Jetson devices and optimize using TensorRT / ONNX.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on camera integration (USB, MIPI, GigE) and real-time inference setups.
• Participate in field testing, debugging, and validation of deployed solutions at customer sites.
• Document experiments, model performance, and deployment steps.
  
  

• B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, AI/ML, Data Science, or related fields.
• Strong academic knowledge in deep learning & computer vision (CNNs, object detection, OCR).
• Exposure to Jetson Nano / Xavier / Orin through academic projects, internships, or hobby work.
• Familiarity with Python, PyTorch, OpenCV, and basic Linux environment.
• Good understanding of Docker basics and AI deployment workflows (bonus if experienced).
  
  

• Mini-projects or internships in AI/ML / Vision applications (especially on edge devices).
• Experience with model quantization (FP16/INT8) and lightweight backbones like Basic exposure to industrial applications (quality inspection, OCR, robotics).
• Knowledge of C++ for performance tuning.
  
  

• Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in teams and take guidance from mentors.
  
  

• Hands-on training in real-world AI deployment on Jetson and edge devices.
• Mentorship from senior AI and embedded engineers.
• Exposure to live industrial projects in automotive, aerospace, electronics, and consumer goods.
