Description

Apple Ads Engineering team is a diverse, global, agile engineering team that moves smart and fast by consuming and optimizing readily available technology. In this role, you will drive the development, fine-tuning and productionization of large-scale ML models through continuous experimentation. You will design and implement automated ML pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, prompt engineering model training, hyper-parameter tuning, and model evaluation, enabling rapid experimentation and iteration. You will have the opportunity to define and refine architectures to meet the unique ad network challenges we must solve, thus delivering on Apple's privacy commitments and changing the way advertising works with data.

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience in building machine learning models.nProficiency in data processing technologies (e.g Kafka, Spark, Flink)nExperience building and fine-tuning machine learning modelsnPrior experience with Python u0026 Java/Scala/C++ or equivalent.nExperience with the model development lifecyclenExperience with machine learning libraries and frameworksnExperience writing machine learning applications and mission-critical code for production machine learning systemsnExperience building and scaling cloud-based architecturesnExperience building AI/ML tooling and/or infrastructurenExperience working on distributed systems where scalability and performance are criticalnPride in building tools to automate routine tasks, organised u0026 detailednFamiliarity with cloud paradigms (e.g AWS or GCP)nStrong problem-solving and debugging skills.nHave the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams.nA desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in building large scale distributed systems.nResults oriented with a desire to work in a fast-paced and collaborative work environmentnPrior experience in the advertising industry is a plusnBS, MS or PhD, or equivalent experience, in Machine Learning, Statistics, Control Theory, Forecasting, Optimisation, Reinforcement Learning or related field with experience building large-scale production systems
