About the Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Worldteam, you will design and deploy ML systems that transform our products and services. You'll bridge the gap between research and production, creating scalable ML solutions that directly impact our core business capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Model Deployment: Implement ML models in production environments with focus on reliability and performance
• ML Pipeline Development: Design end-to-end ML pipelines for training, validation, and deployment
• Model Optimization: Tune models for speed, memory usage, and accuracy in production settings
• ML Infrastructure: Create and maintain infrastructure for model training, serving, and monitoring
• Model Versioning: Implement systems for model experiment tracking, versioning, and reproducibility
• Performance Monitoring: Develop tools to monitor model performance and trigger retraining when needed
• Scalability Solutions: Design architecture for handling large-scale ML workloads efficiently
• API Development: Create robust APIs and interfaces for ML model integration with other systems

• Demonstrates strong software engineering practices and experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Is proficient in Python and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Can implement MLOps best practices including CI/CD for machine learning systems
• Possesses knowledge of distributed computing for large-scale model training
• Has experience deploying and maintaining ML models in production environments
• Excellent English communication skills for technical discussions with clients

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in machine learning engineering with a portfolio of projects
• Strong foundational knowledge of AI frameworks and machine learning models
• Proficiency in Python and related ML libraries
• Experience with ML deployment and production environments
• Excellent communication skills in English for client interactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Australian clients or in similar cultural contexts
• Certifications in AI and machine learning from recognized institutions
• Experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
