Overview
What You'll Do
- Data Pipeline Development : Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using SQL and Python to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Business Intelligence Support : Work closely with BI teams to ensure data readiness for reporting and analytics, optimizing data structures for performance and usability.
- Data Quality & Integrity : Implement and enforce data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.
- Generative AI Support : Contribute to Gen AI initiatives through data preparation, testing, validation, and labeling of data to train and refine AI models.
- Performance Optimization : Identify and implement strategies to improve the performance and efficiency of existing data processes and queries.
- Collaboration : Partner with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to understand data requirements and deliver integrated, impactful data solutions.
- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, data models, and data We're Looking For :
- Experience : 5-7 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
- SQL & BI : Strong proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data manipulation, and optimization. Experience in supporting Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives.
- Python : Excellent programming skills in Python for data processing, scripting, and automation.
- Gen AI Exposure : Experience or strong interest in Gen AI Testing, Validation, and/or Labeling.
- Data Concepts : Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, ETL/ELT methodologies, and data modeling.
- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communication : Effective communication skills for collaboration within cross-functional teams
