Your Role
- Maintain and manage standards within disk and tape storage environments
- Proactively monitor storage systems to prevent issues and optimize performance
- Assist users with analysis and resolution of storage-related issues
- Allocate and reorganize datasets as needed
- Generate reports on storage utilization and growth trends
Your Profile
- 4 to 12 years of experience in Mainframe Storage Administration.
- Proficient in System Managed Storage (SMS) and Copy Services Manager (CSM) for efficient storage automation and replication.
- Strong understanding of ICF Catalog Structure and Management, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Experience in Tape Management, including scratch threshold configuration, Tapecopy operations, and lifecycle management
- Skilled in volume initialization, dataset creation, deletion, and recovery processes in z/OS environments.
