Manual Tester

You will be responsible for manual testing of web applications, tracking issues, and validating functionality across our products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure features are stable, reliable, and user-friendly.

• Execute manual testing for web applications (React.js, Next.js frontend, Node.js backend).
• Test new features, enhancements, and bug fixes on both staging and production environments.
• Validate APIs using tools like Postman.
• Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, and cross-browser testing.
• Create and maintain detailed bug reports, test cases, and test plans.
• Use project management and bug-tracking tools like ClickUp, JIRA, or Notion to track QA activities.
• Participate in feature reviews, identifying edge cases and proposing QA improvements.
• Verify fixes, conduct re-testing, and ensure the overall health of each release.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to prioritize and track bug resolutions

• 1-2 years experience in manual QA testing for web-based applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Postman (or similar API testing tools).
• Experience using ClickUp, JIRA, Notion, or similar tracking tools.
• Good knowledge of cross-browser testing, responsive testing, and basic UI/UX validation.
• Ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports and test cases.
• Familiarity with basic database queries (bonus if worked with Firebase or MongoDB).
• Basic understanding of SaaS workflows and multi-tenant platforms (a plus).

• Basic exposure to automation tools like Cypress or Playwright.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Firebase, AWS (S3 basics).
• Understanding of role-based access testing (admin, recruiter, candidate flows).
• Previous experience testing high-traffic SaaS platforms.
