Manual Tester (Fresher)
We are looking for a Manual Tester (Fresher) to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates , who are eager to develop their career in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Manual testing, be detail-oriented, and possess good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing of software applications, ensuring they meet the functional and technical requirements.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, document results, and raise defects. Ensure proper defect tracking and timely reporting.
- Test Documentation: Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications and user requirements.
- Defect Reporting: Identify and report defects in the defect management system, providing detailed steps for reproduction and relevant information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the software meets the highest quality standards.
- Communication: Clearly communicate test results and issues to development and project teams in a concise and actionable manner.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Freshers with a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
- Testing courses are mandatory.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with software testing concepts and methodologies is a plus (e.g., test case creation, bug reporting).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies in software or processes.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies in the field of quality assurance.
Desirable Attributes:
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in the software testing domain.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical documents, such as user stories, requirements, and engineering drawings.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
