Role Overview:

We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to develop and provide data-driven insights regarding email, SMS, and other marketing channel performance for our clients. You will build and optimize measurement frameworks and dashboards as well as analyze data gathered from various sources to provide actionable insights that will drive strategy and tactics to improve client ROI. You will be the go-to person for and work closely with our Program Directors to answer questions, gather and deliver insights, and move client strategy forward. You will provide support on strategic initiatives, identify key metrics, advise on improvements, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. This is an ideal position for those who have a passion for using data to answer our clients’ most pressing questions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Creating and distributing standard reporting frameworks and dashboards for client teams to enable message and campaign reporting at scale.
• Gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources, including email and marketing automation tools, web analytics, and more.
• Aiding Program Directors in onboarding new clients to understand their data needs and key performance metrics and align on key reports.
• Helping Program Directors with testing protocols and test designs to enable proper tracking and measurement.
• Developing ongoing learning roadmaps and strategies in tandem with Program Directors to drive continuous improvement and program optimization.
• Analyzing customer and program performance data to identify trends and audience segments.
• Monitoring industry trends and best practices to help improve strategic recommendations.
  
  
  

• MBA or the equivalent experience.
• 3-4 years of experience in data science, analytics, or data strategy that showcases a proven ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insights.
• Experience with email marketing analytics is a major plus.
• Experience with both marketing analytics and marketing automation tools, including web analytics, CRMs, and more. (Salesforce, Braze, HubSpot, and more.) Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker Studio, etc.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, and Redshift.
• Familiarity with predictive modeling, clustering, regression analysis, decision trees, and machine learning libraries.
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and oral, especially in a business setting. An ability to speak to both technical and non-technical audiences is a major plus.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to adapt to constantly changing deadlines, priorities, and project requirements.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
• Experience working with a fully remote team, including team members overseas.
