This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description

Our HPE marketing teams are focused on making our brand easy to understand and easy to buy. We’re devising data driven brand strategy, from architecture and naming, to why we exist, what we do, who we are and how we look, feel and sound. As a team, we are retaining and attracting new customers by accelerating our business strategy by making our brand stronger, more relevant, differentiated, and authentic.

Responsibilities

Combines technical depth in big data and cloud technologies with business acumen and solution architect skills to design, implement, and operationalize data solutions that deliver business value. Act as trusted advisors, bridging the gap between stakeholders and technical teams while fostering community engagement and continuous innovation.

Education And Experience Required

• Master´s degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or equivalent preferred. Or Bachelor´s Degree in these areas.
• At least 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  
  

Knowledge And Skills

• Architect big data solutions that span data engineering, data science, machine learning, and SQL analytics workflows.
• Deep expertise in areas such as streaming, performance tuning, data lake technologies, or industry-specific data solutions
• Designing scalable, secure, and optimized data solutions using the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
• Deep understanding of the Databricks Lakehouse architecture, including Delta Lake, MLflow, and Databricks SQL for data management, machine learning, and analytics
• Proficiency in deploying and managing Databricks solutions on Azure Strong skills in building and optimizing data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, schema design, and handling large-scale data processing with Apache Spark.
• Ability to design scalable and secure Databricks solutions tailored to business needs, including multi-hop data pipelines (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
• Implementing data governance using Unity Catalog, role-based access control (RBAC), entity permissions, and ensuring compliance and data security
