Key Responsibilities :
R&D Roadmap & Opportunity Analysis :
- Identify high-value clinical and wellness use cases by analysing unmet and under-served needs across healthcare and consumer health markets.
- Evaluate market potential using TAM/SAM/SOM analysis, technology readiness, adoption trends, and competitive benchmarking.
- Map the competitive landscape, analysing OEM modules, reference designs, sensing technologies, and product differentiators, along with relative strengths and limitations.
- Research the component ecosystemincluding sensors, analog front-ends, communication modules, materials, and supporting technologiesand assess potential suppliers.
- Identify relevant regulatory, compliance, and certification requirements, including applicable standards, testing protocols, and lab validations aligned to the product roadmap.
GTM Intelligence & Commercial Support :
- Profile and prioritise target OEM and ODM customers across medical devices, wearables, and health-tech sectors.
- Map key stakeholders to support technical discussions, proof-of-concepts, partnerships, and commercial opportunities.
- Build and maintain a partner ecosystem map, identifying system integrators, EMS partners, design houses, and component suppliers.
- Track and recommend participation in relevant industry forums, expos, and conferences spanning medical devices, consumer electronics, and semiconductors.
- Monitor competitive positioning, customer feedback, and market coverage of the companys product portfolio.
Required Qualifications :
Must-Have :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (BE / BTech / MTech).
- 3 to 8 years of experience in technology research, market sizing, and competitive analysis, preferably across IoT, med-tech, wearables, consumer electronics, or digital health.
- Strong skills in PowerPoint storytelling and Excel-based modelling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, especially for stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration.
Good-to-Have :
- MBA with a focus on Marketing, Strategy, or Product Management.
- Exposure to sensors, electronics, regulatory frameworks, or clinical workflows.
- Understanding of OEM / ODM supply chains and manufacturing ecosystems.
- Experience conducting primary research, surveys, and B2B market studies.
