Master Data Analyst

Job Description & Mission

• Support MDG organization in cleansing activities of part attributes to increase master data quality and data integrity
• Data classification related to eClass, UNSPSC and map the product to global standards
• Proactively analyze data to increase quality as it relates to accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, timeliness, conformity, and validity
• Maintaining Structural Data and logical Hierarchical Data
• Taxonomy, template and description development for the products per the industry standard
• Analyze product specifications, technical documents, drawing interpretation and Bills of Materials (BOM) to determine appropriate eClass codes.
• Responsible for analyzing master data and data sources and identifying trends and patterns that can be used to improve business processes and operational efficiency
• Experience of building and maintaining Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets, Planning, analyzing and storing investigated data into spreadsheets.
• Prioritize current business initiatives and deliverables. Communicate reasonable and attainable deadlines
• Validate the Master data i.e., Noun Modifier, UoM, material group / type etc.
• Responsible for Material master and Supplier Master Data accuracy in the appropriate domains
  
  

Experience Requirements

3 to 4 years of experience in engineering industry

Skill & Knowledge

• Technical knowledge on mechanical/hydraulic/Electrical components and their application to use in Mining or construction products
• Experience in part classification standards like eClass, UNSPSC, ETIM etc.
• Good communication as he / she must interact with global teams/ supplier(s)
• Familiar with various industry standards like ISO, ASME, RoHS, REACH etc.
• Highly skilled at analyzing data and sorting relevant information
• Good in Microsoft excel and ERP tools
• Exposure to RnD, CAD tool is a plus
  
  

Educational Requirements

B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics Engineering
