Job Title: Master Data Analyst
Department: JDE
Reporting to: Director of IT Applications
Location: Mumbai, India
Roles & Responsibilities
- Review, validate, and correct master data records (customers, vendors, products, pricing, materials, etc.)
- Identify and resolve data quality issues such as duplicates, missing values, incorrect codes, and inconsistent formatting
- Perform data cleansing and standardization to match company naming conventions and data governance rules
- Use Excel to analyze, reconcile, and manage large datasets efficiently
- Prepare data correction templates and update files for uploads into ERP/CRM systems
- Work with internal teams (sales, operations, finance, supply chain) to verify data accuracy
- Maintain logs and documentation for changes made to master data
- Create basic dashboards/reports to monitor data quality trends and correction progress
- Ensure timely completion of data correction tasks with high accuracy
- Advanced Excel functions: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF, COUNTIF, SUMIF, TEXT, LEFT/RIGHT/MID
- Data tools: Pivot Tables, Filters, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation
- Data cleaning: Remove duplicates, text-to-columns, proper formatting, standard templates
- Strong ability to work with large data volumes and multiple sheets/workbooks
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to multitask within a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.
- Exposure to and understanding of consulting services.
- Proven skills in working with different departments, data assimilation, cleansing and coordinating with Teams

- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Data, Supply Chain, Finance, or similar)
- Experience in master data management or data correction preferred
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle repetitive tasks efficiently
