Overview
Responsibilities
- To perform efficient spare parts assortment, parts Information, diagnostics and repair Information to maximize powerplant uptime, thereby creating competitive product advantage in the aftermarket business.
- Ability to understand part, sub-assembly and system dimensional layouts. Develop, document, and optimize spare parts solutions needed for technical repair.
- Perform internal technical reviews related to Spare Parts, Repair Methods, and Standard Times to assure coherence.
- This is mainly done with Product Data Management (PDM) Bill of Materials (BOM) and SAP. The product range we support is increasing due the fast digitalization, new alternative fuels, and power output solutions for our global customers.
- Analyze and resolve engineering deviations, suggestions, and internal/external customer inquiries relative to service parts
- To be the best match for us, we expect you to have an understanding of product BOMs, technical drawings, and experience working with SAP and office tools, especially Excel.
- You will not be working on this alone. Even though the work requires a high level of independence, you will get support from your colleagues located at different offices globally.
- As an ideal candidate, you have gained an understanding of mechanical products and have a degree in mechanical engineering with 1-5 years of experience.
- For you to succeed in this position, we hope you have problem-solving skills, a willingness to take initiative and learn new.
- In this role, fluent written and spoken English is essential as you will be communicating with global suppliers and with your customers.
