The Medical Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, organizing, and summarizing complex medical records. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in medical data analysis, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency with medical data management tools. This role supports Med-Legal and life insurance projects, requiring precision and compliance with healthcare data regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Data Analysis:
- Review, analyze, and summarize complex medical records and healthcare documentation.
- Identify key medical events, diagnoses, and treatments relevant to legal or insurance cases.
Data Accuracy and Quality Control:
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical data by identifying discrepancies, inconsistencies, or missing information.
- Conduct quality checks and audits to uphold high standards in data handling processes.
Data Management and Software Proficiency:
- Utilize data management software to effectively handle, organize, and store medical records.
- Work with platforms such as CaseDrive or similar medical data management tools.
Analytical and Critical Thinking:
- Apply analytical thinking to interpret complex medical case histories and extract pertinent data.
- Summarize medical cases with a focus on key details, timelines, and relevance to the project.
Reporting and Communication:
- Generate clear and concise reports that communicate medical findings for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Translate complex medical information into accessible formats for diverse audiences.
Time Management and Deadline Adherence:
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting strict deadlines while maintaining data quality and accuracy.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and timelines.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct routine audits and quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Implement corrective actions where needed to address data issues.
Adaptability and Continuous Learning:
- Quickly adapt to new tools, systems, and evolving project requirements.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with medical, legal, and technology trends.
Experience with Med-Legal and Life Insurance Projects:
- Apply prior experience in Med-Legal or life insurance settings where accurate medical data is essential for legal claims, case evaluations, or insurance adjudication.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all data handling aligns with healthcare privacy regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive medical information.

Education & Experience
- Degree in healthcare, medical informatics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical data analysis, preferably in Med-Legal or insurance-based projects.
