About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and build advanced applications for the iOS and Android platforms using React Native.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Maintain and improve existing mobile applications.
4. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
5. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize apps for performance and scalability.
6. Stay up-to-date with new mobile technologies and industry trends.
7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
8. Integrate APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs into applications.
9. Work with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Other Requirements:

Required skills:

1. Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and the React Native framework.

2. Experience with Redux and Redux Toolkit.

3. Knowledge of iOS and Android development principles.

4. Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.

5. Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices.

6. Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.

7. Knowledge of performance optimisation and memory management in mobile apps.

8. Familiarity with App Store and Play Store submission process.

Preferred qualifications:

1. Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Detox, or React Native Testing Library.

2. Familiarity with native modules and bridging in React Native.

3. Knowledge of WebRTC, SIP, push notifications, or other real-time communication technologies.

4. Exposure to native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development.

5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
