Job Summary

What You Will Do As A Mobile App Developer
- Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
- Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Transition existing React web apps to React Native.
What You Will Bring as A Mobile App Developer
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or four years of equivalent work experience)
- 4+ years of experience of working using React Native, TypeScript and JavaScript on mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms
- Firm grasp of the React Native architecture, including ES6+ syntax, component lifecycle, hooks, and performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Cross-Platform Development: Experience building apps that work seamlessly across iOS and Android.
- Ability to write well-documented, clean React Native, Javascript code
- Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, IntelliJ
- Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
- Package Management: Proficiency with Node Package Manager (npm), Yarn, and CocoaPods for managing dependencies and building applications.
- State Management: Experience with Redux and Redux-Saga for managing application state and ensuring smooth, non-blocking asynchronous flows.
- Experience in diagnosing and fixing performance issues, ensuring the app runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Proactively modify third-party packages and libraries as needed, and contribute minor patches or bug fixes to ensure the application functions smoothly.
- Proven experience working with US based business teams
- Excellent written and communication skills in English language.
- Ability to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations - Eastern Standard Time (EST) overlap
- Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload
