About Us

We’re a team of IIT Delhi alumni building Dalvoy, India's best AI-native mentor for government exams. Thousands of aspirants already use Dalvoy, and we’re scaling fast.

Our mission is to make learning deeply personalized and interactive using AI — and the mobile app is our primary product surface. We already have a strong app developer on the team and are now looking for a senior engineer who can take ownership and lead mobile development end-to-end.

Role Overview

This is a senior, hands-on role. You’ll lead mobile app architecture, set engineering standards, and ship high-quality iOS & Android apps at scale — while actively coding.

You’ll work closely with founders, product, and AI teams to shape Dalvoy’s mobile experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead development of production-grade mobile apps for iOS & Android
• Architect, build, test, and ship React Native (latest architecture – Fabric + TurboModules / JSI) apps
• Guide and mentor a junior/mid-level mobile developer
• Write clean, scalable, and type-safe code using React Native 0.76+, React 19, TypeScript
• Integrate REST / GraphQL APIs and ensure performance, stability, and smooth UX
• Handle native iOS (Swift) / Android (Kotlin/Java) integrations where required
• Manage app releases, versioning, and store submissions (App Store & Play Store)
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Actively use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) to move fast and improve output quality

Requirements (Must-Have)

• 3–5 years of professional mobile app development experience (both iOS and Android)
• Strong experience building and shipping real-world iOS & Android apps
• Solid command of React Native, TypeScript, and hooks-based architecture
• Experience with native Android/iOS development (not just wrappers)
• Understanding of Hermes, performance profiling, memory optimization
• Experience with app store deployments and production debugging
• Comfortable leading technical decisions and owning outcomes
• Regular, intentional use of AI developer tools (Cursor / Claude Code / similar)

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience with Expo / Expo Router
• Familiarity with Fastlane, CI/CD, crash analytics, feature flags
• Experience in consumer-facing or high-traffic apps
• Exposure to AI-driven or data-heavy products
• Prior experience as a tech lead / senior engineer in a startup environment
