Role Overview

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and overall quality of our mobile applications. As part of the ShopCash team, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify issues, validate features, and optimize our testing processes. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience of millions of customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for iOS and Android applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure new features meet functional and performance requirements.
• Conduct regression testing to prevent reintroduction of defects.
• Perform UI/UX testing to ensure a smooth and intuitive user experience.
• Analyze crash reports, logs, and performance metrics to detect potential issues.
• Establish and improve QA processes, ensuring best practices for mobile application testing.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and other Agile development processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks and automation tools eg. Appium, XCTest, Espresso, Selenium, Maestro
• Experience with test management tools eg Qase
• Familiarity with bug-tracking and test management tools eg Jira
• Understanding of mobile platforms, including iOS and Android UI/UX guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and a good team player.
• Can work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have

• Basic programming skills in JavaScript for test automation.
• Familiarity with git and Github
• Experience in performance testing and security testing for mobile applications.
• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues using debugging tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation in DevOps environments.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
