Job Description

We are seeking a MongoDB (or NoSQL) Database Expert with a strong understanding of NoSQL databases and experience working with large datasets in a fast-paced, Agile development environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing database performance and ensuring seamless integration of database functionality with back-end systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain MongoDB databases for optimal performance and scalability.
• Develop and optimize queries for large datasets to ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Collaborate with application developers to integrate database functionality with back-end systems.
• Monitor database performance, applying best practices for optimization and security.
• Design and implement data models that meet business requirements.
• Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
  
  

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in MongoDB or other NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, CouchDB).
• Strong experience with database design, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with large datasets and optimizing data retrieval in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning, scalability, and security best practices.
• Strong understanding of indexing, sharding, and replication in MongoDB.
• Experience with backend integration and collaborating with application developers.
• Familiarity with tools like MongoDB Atlas, Compass, or similar database management tools.
