Overview
IT s Network Security Engineer 24x7 (m/f/*) – Junior to Professional Level Your Responsibilities:
- Operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of IT systems in the areas of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Exchange (On-Prem C Cloud), Storage, and Network Security
- Support of network and security solutions (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Barracuda)
- Independent handling of service requests, incidents, and changes in accordance with internal processes
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Close collaboration with colleagues and cross-functional teams
- Participation in 24x7 shift operations to ensure system availability
Your Profile:
- Completed IT education (e.g., technical college, apprenticeship, university of applied sciences) or equivalent professional experience
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory
- Experience with VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter, etc.)
- Experience with network components and protocols (RoutingCSwitching, VPN, firewall configuration)
- Structured and self-reliant working style
- Willingness to work in 24x7 shift operations
- Team player with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
Additional Qualifications (preferred):
- Experience with PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (e.g., IaaS, AD Connect, mail routing)
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange in hybrid environments (On-Prem / M365)
- Basic knowledge of Linux (for monitoring and simple troubleshooting)
- Experience with NetApp storage systems
Certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, or equivalent
