About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer (MTS II) to join our engineering team in Mumbai. The role involves designing, developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and clean architecture. The ideal candidate will contribute to real-time and embedded software development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, efficient, and maintainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and enhance Android applications based on system and functional requirements.
- Write, integrate, test, debug and refine software to deliver reliable and optimized solutions.
- Develop and maintain reusable software tools, SDKs and subsystems to support engineering workflows.
- Participate in system and interface design discussions, documentation and validation processes.
- Analyze and troubleshoot application issues to improve efficiency, performance and robustness.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, including design diagrams and flowcharts.
- Support system testing programs and analyze test results to ensure product stability.
- Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong experience with Java and Kotlin, along with proficiency in Android Studio/ Android SDK.
- Hands-on expertise with MVVM, MVP and MVC architectural patterns.
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud services preferred.
- Prior experience with multimedia application development involving streaming audio and video is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills within agile or small-team environments.
- Ability to plan and execute engineering tasks efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
