Overview
Job Title: Network Administrator -l2
This position is intended for Network Administrators with experience configuring Cisco switches/routers and firewalls.
Preference would be given to those candidate who has experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Sonicwall firewalls.

Responsibilities:
Network Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain the organization's local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network segments.
1. Install, configure, and upgrade network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
2. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network-related issues.
3. Ensure network security by implementing appropriate measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
4. Conduct regular network assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
Network Administration:
1. Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
2. Configure and maintain network services, including domain name system (DNS), dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP), and virtual private network (VPN).
3. Monitor network usage, capacity, and traffic patterns to optimize network performance.
4. Perform routine network backups and disaster recovery procedures.
5. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network systems with other infrastructure components.
Network Troubleshooting and Support:
1. Respond to network-related help desk tickets and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
2. Conduct root cause analysis for network problems and implement corrective actions.
3. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on network connectivity, protocols, and related issues.
4. Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve network problems.
Network Documentation and Reporting:
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
2. Generate reports on network performance, availability, and security incidents.
3. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend network improvements and upgrades.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a network administrator or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
