Overview
The IT Support Administrator maintains the IT systems and network of the whole organization. He/she provides IT technical support and ensures a smooth function of IT technologies. He/she monitors the company IT environment, installs, configures hardware and software and solves various technical problems and requests. He/She also provides technical support to the end users.
Skill Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a role of IT Administrator or IT Technical support.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and network protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Understanding computer hardware and software technology, shared network resources, Internet access and email.
- Knowledge of Windows client and server operating systems installation and management
- Knowledge of MS 365 and Azure cloud technologies (Intune, Defender, Sentinel)
- Basic Knowledge of Active Directory
- Knowledge of network protocols TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- General IT know-how and awareness of IT security principles
- Orientation on mobile platforms and their installation and maintenance.
- Communicative English language
- Good communication skills, logical and analytical thinking, proactive and customer-oriented approach
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security platforms
- Knowledge of VMware and Cisco technologies is welcome
- Providing IT technical support across the company in the local and remote offices
- Working with a ticketing system; responding in a timely manner to service issues and support requests
- Maintenance and distribution of IT equipment, IT asset inventory
- Evaluation, sorting, and forwarding requirements to further level of support
- Manage creating/deletion of user accounts including permissions management
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners and other hardware
- Monitoring and maintaining ICT systems and network
- Maintaining and replacing equipment in line with the life cycle company policy
- Maintaining and updating relevant documentation
- Providing guidelines and training on IT systems for end users
- Participate on various IT projects and technology upgrades/deployment
- Cooperation with the global IT team and external vendors
- Regular reporting to upper management
