Network Cisco ACI Engineer, L2

Overview

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled L2 Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) to manage, support, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Cisco ACI fabric operations, configuration, and integration with traditional networking environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, configure, and maintain Cisco ACI fabric including APIC controllers, leaf and spine switches.
• Perform L2/L3 network troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Configure and support ACI tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, Contracts, and EPGs.
• Handle ACI-related change management activities (planning, implementation, validation).
• Integrate ACI with traditional Cisco Nexus/IOS environments.
• Collaborate with L1 teams for issue escalations and resolve within defined SLAs.
• Manage network performance and optimize for high availability and scalability.
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams including security and server teams.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on Cisco technologies.
• 1–2 years hands-on experience with Cisco ACI fabric.
• Strong understanding of L2/L3 networking, VLANs, VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, and MP-BGP.
• Experience in configuring and managing Cisco Nexus switches (5K, 7K, 9K).
• Familiar with network tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python/Shell) is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Certifications Preferred:

• CCNA / CCNP (Data Center preferred)
• Cisco ACI-specific training or certifications (e.g., DCACI)

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
