Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures using Cisco Firepower, Cisco Wireless, DNA Center, Cisco ISE, and other Cisco technologies.
- Configure and maintain Nexus and Catalyst switches, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and execute network ansible or python scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Monitor network performance using tools such as ThousandEyes, CX Cloud, DNAC Assurance, and Cisco ACI.
- Provide comprehensive network monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure network health and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document network requirements and solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices, with a strong emphasis on Cisco Firewall management.
- Participate in network design and drawing, ensuring scalability and robustness.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve network performance.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies.
- Proficiency in Cisco Firepower, DNA Center, Routing and Switching, Cisco ISE, and Cisco monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols.
- Extensive experience with network monitoring and Cisco Firewall management.
- Experience with network design and drawing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to run network scripts and automate tasks.
- Knowledge of virtualization environments.
- Experience with Nexus and Catalyst switches.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certifications in Cisco and other technologies.
