Job Title: Network Engineer

Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial to the success of our organization, as it involves both operational and strategic responsibilities that directly impact our customers and leadership. The Network Engineer will play a key role in planning, coordinating, implementing, and delivering services across various platforms and vendor environments. The ideal candidate will possess subject matter expertise in multiple network technology areas and demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt and scale up in other areas. The primary goal is to consistently deliver high-quality products by committed delivery dates.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support new and existing network services for customers and business partners.
• Enhance the performance and availability of existing networks and services.
• Research, document, and maintain network policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with management to improve processes, procedures, and reduce inefficiencies.
• Apply innovative thinking to solve complex network challenges.
• Mentor, train, and assist team members to foster a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Moderate to advanced knowledge of switches, firewalls, and security concepts, including IOS, NEXUS, ASA, VPN, ACL, STP, and SNMP.
• Proficiency with Solarwinds for monitoring, scripting, and asset management.
• In-depth understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and GRE.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in network support, design, and/or architecture on moderately complex networks.
• At least 2 years of experience in designing and implementing complex networks, including firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Flexibility to work on/off shifts to meet company, customer, and internal requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Tools and Technologies:

• Proficiency with Cisco switches and routers.
• Familiarity with network design and security best practices.
• Experience with LAN/WAN and WLAN technologies.
• Knowledge of load balancers, particularly F5.
• Understanding of VOIP technologies such as Mitel and Cisco.

Highly Desired:

• CCNP certification in routing, data center, security, or service provider areas.
• Advanced knowledge of load balancers and VOIP technologies.
