Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Administrator / Network Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in managing and troubleshooting Cisco-based networks. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the stability, integrity, and efficiency of our network infrastructure across multiple locations, ensuring seamless connectivity and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, and security configurations.
• Manage LAN, WAN, and VPN connections, ensuring secure and efficient network operation.
• Collaborate with IT and classroom support teams to provide networking solutions for training labs and virtual classrooms.
• Ensure network security through firewalls, access controls, and regular audits.
• Maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams, configurations, and change logs.
• Respond to and resolve network support tickets in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Cisco network administration or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking hardware and software.
• Experience in routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel).
• Proficient in troubleshooting Layer 2/Layer 3 network issues.
• Basic knowledge of network monitoring tools and packet analyzers.
• Solid understanding of network security practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is a must; CCNP is a plus.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) or software-defined networking (SDN).
• Familiarity with firewall configuration and security appliances (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, etc.).
