Network Engineer

Job Summary: Experience needed: 4 to 6 years

Technical skills:

• Hands-on experience with RHEL server deployment and upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of network configuration, including VLANs, IP, and HA setup
• Experience in DNS (internal and external) server configuration and integration
  • Expertise configuring and integrating both internal and external DNS servers, including Akamai-Nominum, BIND, Microsoft DNS, or cloud DNS services.
  • Experience managing DNS zones, records (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, PTR), and ensuring secure DNS setups (DNSSEC).
  • Ability to integrate DNS with DHCP and Active Directory where applicable.
• Experience with change in impact analysis and quality management processes
• Ability to perform technical verification and validation of system configurations and changes along with creating process manuals for same.
• Knowledge of kernel version upgrades, patch management, system rollback, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to automate deployment processes using scripting or configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).

Key Responsibilities:

Testing and Validation

Conduct comprehensive testing of network, application and system configuration in the server.

Identify and address issues, security vulnerabilities and optimization, as required. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and configure network devices.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve network and server issues related to technologies. Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard network infrastructure.

Documentation:

Prepare and publish the Test Plans, Test Cases, MOPs, Execution Status and detailed reports.

Preferred requirement:

• Experience working in global or cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with compliance standards and infrastructure best practices
• Prior experience in a similar Architect-level role involving bilingual coordination in enterprise / telecom data centers.
