Description
The role is to plan, direct, and coordinate the design, installation, and connectivity of computer
systems and network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s IT assets.
This includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing
network, hardware, software, and communication links. This role is also responsible for network,
servers, data centre, security systems, telecommunication and other electronic infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's network
infrastructure, antivirus and anti-malware solutions on endpoints. Establish service level agreements
with end users.
- Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving network issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Work with senior security engineers to ensure all endpoints are regularly updated with the latest
security patches & monitor network equipment and software.
- Collaborate with the IT team to enforce security policies and ensure endpoint configurations
comply with security standards.
- Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, web application
firewall, anti-virus solutions (EPP), data loss prevention (DLP), distributed denial of services (DDoS),
intrusion prevention system and intrusion detection systems (IPS/IDS).
Education / Qualifications
Degree in IT or related discipline
Any Network Certification for Network and cybersecurity
ISO 27001:2022
Knowledge & Experience
0 to 1 years of experience Manage and establish priorities for maintenance, design,
development and analysis of entire infrastructure systems inclusive of LANs, WANs, internet,
security, Endpoint protection and wireless implementations
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and concepts.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and basic networking concepts.
Understanding of basic networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
Familiarity with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols.
