Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Network Engineer cum IT Administrator to oversee and manage day-to-day IT operations and maintain the network infrastructure within a business environment. This role requires an individual who can work independently and handle both technical support and network-related responsibilities to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the network infrastructure including switches, access points, and structured cabling.
• Configure and manage the firewall to ensure secure internet access and appropriate segmentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure stable and reliable connectivity.
• Liaise with the internet service provider to ensure consistent uptime and bandwidth efficiency.
• Provide hands-on IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Install, configure, and update software, operating systems, and antivirus solutions.
• Manage user accounts, email setup, and shared network resources.
• Conduct routine data backups and participate in basic disaster recovery processes.
• Maintain and support security systems including CCTV, biometric access controls, and intercom systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support and basic network administration.
• Hands-on experience with firewall configuration and basic network security.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic server management.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting methods.
• Strong ability to work independently and multitask across various responsibilities.
