Overview
- Perform health check-up of network devices under scope of this project in DC and DR
- Prepare reports as per the requirements of Bank
- Take periodical backup of configuration of network devices under scope of this project as per requirements of the Bank
- Verify transfer of logs generated by network devices to Syslog\Log management solution
- Monitor, report and document network related incidents
- Configure network devices as per requirements of the Bank
- Perform root cause analysis and provide reports for network related incidents
- Perform firmware\software upgradation and patching for network devices
- Prepare and maintain network architecture diagrams
- Co-ordinate with OEM for support
- Prepare CR for approval by Bank
- Implement Audit recommendations
- Review capacity and availability of network infrastructure and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Verify and maintain time synchronization among all the devices/solutions under control.
- Making required setup and monitoring the traffic to find out security threats/incidents during the duty hours.
- Implementing security best practices as well as adhere to compliances of regulatory and other government bodies.
- Rectify/replace faulty network devices in scope
- Monitor Warranty/AMC support expiry and take up for renewals
Details of skill set required for the engagement of engineers but not limited to following:
Position Skill Set
Level-2 (L2)
Diploma or above in Computer Science/Electronics/IT/Electrical Engineering/ MCA
CCNP certified and above. Certificate should be currently valid and continue to be valid by the resource during the contract period.
Minimum overall 5 years (in which minimum 2 years of experience as L2) of experience in routing and switching in spine-leaf architecture post certification.
