Network Infrastructure Engineer (Meraki)

We are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Engineer (Meraki) to support a global initiative aimed at connecting up to 1,000 international sites. This role involves designing and deploying scalable and secure network infrastructure using Cisco Meraki, AWS networking, and VPN/NAC solutions. The engineer will collaborate closely with IT support, engineering teams, vendors, and global stakeholders to ensure robust network connectivity and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Deployment

• Design and implement scalable network solutions using Cisco Meraki MX & vMX VPN appliances.

• Deploy and manage network infrastructure in AWS, including VPCs, Subnets, EC2, and VPC Peering.

• Configure Client VPN solutions with automated provisioning and role-based access control.

• Deploy 802.1X and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions for secure network access.

• Ensure high availability and security with proper firewall rules and routing protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP).

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, templates, onboarding, and troubleshooting.

• Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for internal support and engineering teams.

Project Execution & Collaboration

• Drive end-to-end project execution, define deliverables and milestones, and track project progress.

• Coordinate with internal business units, vendors, and external partners to meet project timelines and budgets.

• Communicate effectively with global teams across Europe and the US.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or systems integration.

• Proven experience with Cisco Meraki technologies and VPN solutions (e.g., AnyConnect).

• Hands-on experience in AWS networking (VPCs, Subnets, Peering, EC2).

• Solid understanding of 802.1X, NAC tools, and role-based access control implementations.

• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP) and firewall/security configurations.

• Experience working with vendors, procurement, and licensing processes.

• Scripting/automation skills (e.g., Python, Shell) are a plus.

• Excellent documentation, coordination, and business communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Cisco (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) or AWS networking.

• Familiarity with automation tools for network configuration and monitoring.

• Experience in supporting multi-site, international network deployments.
