We are looking for a skilled Network Security Device Engineer – L2 to manage, monitor, and support critical network security infrastructure. The role involves hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of firewall and WAF technologies, ensuring consistent performance and security of the environment.

We are looking for a skilled Network Security Device Engineer – L2 to manage, monitor, and support critical network security infrastructure. The role involves hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of firewall and WAF technologies, ensuring consistent performance and security of the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, monitor, and manage FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls
- Administer and support Web Application Firewalls (WAF), with a focus on F5 WAF
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly health checks and status validations of security devices
- Perform updates, upgrades, and troubleshoot network security issues independently
- Manage incidents and service requests using ticketing systems like Symphony or Jira
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, partners, clients, and internal teams for issue resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities and ensure timely updates of tickets
- Contribute to root cause analysis and participate in continuous service improvement initiatives
- Minimum 6 years of experience in network security device management
- Strong practical knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls
- Experience with F5 WAF or equivalent WAF technologies
- Familiarity with enterprise ticketing tools such as Symphony and Jira
- Solid troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
