We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Network Engineer with 2 -3 years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring secure, efficient, and stable network operations.

Network & Firewall Administrator – Job Description (Brief)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network & Firewall Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise-level networking and firewall solutions, along with strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor and manage overall network performance, ensuring high availability, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, encompassing both hardware and software challenges.
• Implement and manage firewall policies, NAT, VPN configurations, and advanced security rules.
• Perform regular monitoring of system logs and network traffic to identify unauthorized access attempts and abnormal activities.
• Administer and maintain enterprise firewall appliances such as Palo Alto and Sophos, ensuring optimal configuration, policy management, and threat intelligence integration.
• Conduct regular system updates, firmware upgrades, and preventive maintenance for network infrastructure.
• Utilize network monitoring and management tools to proactively detect and address potential performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related needs and ensure seamless IT operations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

• In-depth knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Hands-on experience with configuring and managing Palo Alto and Sophos Firewalls, including security policy management and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and management platforms.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
