SummaryThe primary purpose of the UAT Tester at Novartis Patient Support is to ensure that all systems and applications within the Novartis Patient Support Center meet the established business requirements and are ready for deployment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining high-quality standards by rigorously testing systems to identify any discrepancies or issues before they reach the end-users. The UAT Tester acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing assurance that the solutions delivered are fit for purpose and meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients. Through meticulous planning, execution, and collaboration, the UAT Tester contributes to the seamless operation of patient support services, ultimately enhancing the patient experience and supporting Novartis' mission of improving health outcomes.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Execute rigorous User Acceptance Testing to ensure systems meet business requirements and deliver flawless patient support.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to validate solutions and resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and manage project plans across design, development, and production stages for timely delivery.
- Drive standardization of reports across brands, data sources, and platforms to enhance consistency.
- Serve as liaison with global and local brand teams for project planning and analytics-based solutions.
- Ensure clear, proactive communication with stakeholders through regular updates and best-practice sharing.
- Comply with all Novartis operating procedures, including legal, information technology, human resources, and adverse event reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in User Acceptance Testing within healthcare or pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong understanding of the system development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve system discrepancies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and adverse event reporting processes.
- International Software Testing Qualifications Board certification.
- Experience with modern test management and issue tracking tools (for example, Jira).
