Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Proven experience as an Oracle Cloud Architect or in a similar role with a strong focus on designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Exadata, Oracle Cloud Applications, and OCI networking, storage, and compute services.
- Strong knowledge of cloud migration strategies and cloud-native technologies.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in cloud architecture design, including multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Oracle’s Cloud Automation tools.
- Experience with cloud security, access management, and compliance standards (e.g., IAM, VPN, encryption, and identity management).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and integration with Oracle Cloud services.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional or equivalent Oracle Cloud certification.
- Additional certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) are a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Academics : B.Tech/B.E./MCA/M.Sc
- Experience with Oracle Cloud , Oracle Analytics Cloud, or other Oracle Cloud Applications.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud networking and best practices for network architecture, VPNs, and connectivity.
- Previous experience working in large-scale cloud transformation or migration projects.
- Experience in building disaster recovery and high-availability solutions using Oracle Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Solution Design: Architect and design end-to-end cloud solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring they align with business goals and meet technical requirements.
- Architecture Planning: Lead the design and planning of cloud-based systems and services, leveraging Oracle Cloud’s capabilities such as Autonomous Database, Oracle Exadata Cloud Service, Oracle Cloud Applications, and more.
- Cloud Migration: Develop and execute cloud migration strategies for legacy systems, databases, and applications from on-premises to Oracle Cloud.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement best practices for IaC, automating provisioning and managing OCI resources using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Oracle’s native tools.
- Security & Compliance: Design and implement cloud security architectures, ensuring that cloud solutions are secure, compliant with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and follow Oracle’s security best practices.
- Cost Optimization: Advise on cloud cost management and optimization strategies, including selecting appropriate services, designing efficient architectures, and leveraging OCI’s pricing models.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with product teams, developers, and business leaders to translate business needs into cloud architecture solutions.
- Cloud Operations: Establish and oversee processes for cloud operations, including monitoring, performance optimization, backup and disaster recovery, and scaling.
- DevOps Integration: Integrate Oracle Cloud solutions with DevOps processes for continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automation of deployments.
- Documentation & Training: Document architecture designs, technical specifications, and cloud strategies. Provide training to internal teams on Oracle Cloud technologies and best practices.
- Cloud Innovation: Keep up with the latest Oracle Cloud innovations and industry trends, proposing new cloud-native solutions to improve business processes and system performance.
