Key Responsibilities
- Database Management: Administer Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) databases, including provisioning, patching, and performance optimization.
- Infrastructure Operations:
- Manage and maintain Oracle VM instances (patching, upgrades, troubleshooting).
- Configure and monitor load balancers for high availability.
- Administer Oracle VCN (Virtual Cloud Network) for secure connectivity.
- Manage storage buckets, archive policies, and lifecycle maintenance.
- Disaster Recovery & Availability: Implement and support OCI high availability and DR setups.
- Data Operations: Perform Data Refresh (P2T, T2T) across environments ensuring consistency and security.
- Automation & Integrations:
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Integrate observability tools and ServiceNow for incident and change management.
- Enable cloud-to-cloud integrations (Azure ↔ Oracle, OCI ↔ GCP).
- Enterprise Applications:
- Support Oracle Fusion integrations with OCI and external systems.
- Manage Identity & Access Management (IAM) in OCI.
- Cost & Billing: Monitor, analyze, and optimize OCI usage, billing, and cost management.
- Proven expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Database, IAM).
- Hands-on experience with Autonomous Databases (ATP) and VM administration.
- Strong knowledge of OCI networking (VCN, security lists, gateways, load balancers).
- Experience with CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions preferred).
- Exposure to monitoring/observability tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow).
- Strong understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) setups in OCI.
- Knowledge of cloud-to-cloud integrations (Azure ↔ Oracle, GCP ↔ Oracle).
- Experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud modules and integrations.
- Proficiency in OCI IAM policies, users, groups, and federation.
