Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

This hybrid role combines Oracle Database Administration (DBA) expertise with DevOps engineering practices. The professional will be responsible for managing and optimizing Oracle databases while also building and maintaining automated, cloud-based, and containerized environments. The position requires strong skills in database administration along with hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, cloud platforms, and monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Administration
• Manage, configure, and optimize Oracle databases for performance, availability, and security.
• Perform routine backups, recovery, upgrades, and patch management.
• Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• DevOps & Automation
• Automate infrastructure and database provisioning using Ansible and Terraform.
• Manage source code, versioning, and CI/CD pipelines with Git.
• Deploy and orchestrate applications/databases in Kubernetes environments.
• Ensure cloud-native deployments and scalability on AWS (Cloud Practitioner level).
• Monitoring & Observability
• Implement performance monitoring and alerting dashboards with Grafana and Kibana.
• Track database and infrastructure metrics to ensure reliability and compliance.
  
  

Required Skills

• Core DBA: Oracle database administration, backup/recovery, tuning, and high availability.
• Automation & Configuration: Ansible, Terraform.
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS Cloud Practitioner, Kubernetes, Git.
• Monitoring: Grafana, Kibana.
• Experience: 4+ years as an Oracle DBA with exposure to DevOps practices.
