Overview
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Automation Engineer with hands-on expertise in Performance Center for performance testing and a strong foundation in test design, system testing, and integration testing. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in validating system performance and ensuring the stability, scalability, and functionality of applications across various test environments.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Test Design & Execution:
Develop detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data based on business and technical requirements.
Perform system testing to validate end-to-end functionality across all application modules.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional and non-functional scenarios.
Integration Testing:
Conduct integration testing to validate interactions between system components and external interfaces.
Collaborate with development and architecture teams to ensure a stable and integrated test environment.
- ️ Performance Testing:
Design and execute performance tests using Micro Focus Performance Center (LoadRunner Enterprise).
Identify bottlenecks and performance degradation across various layers (app server, DB, network, etc.).
Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide recommendations for performance tuning.
Automation & CI Integration:
Automate regression and functional test suites where applicable using industry-standard tools.
Integrate automated and performance test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
Defect Management & Reporting:
Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar.
Provide timely updates and test progress reports to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC), QA methodologies, and test planning.
Proven experience with Performance Center (LoadRunner Enterprise) for load and stress testing.
Good knowledge of functional, system, and integration testing techniques.
Experience with test management tools like ALM, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and automation tools is a plus.
Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and performance reports to troubleshoot and recommend improvements.
Nice to Have:
Experience in CI/CD pipelines and working knowledge of tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
Exposure to cloud-based performance testing (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure environments).
ISTQB or relevant QA certification.
