Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Performance Testing Engineer with strong expertise in Apache JMeter to design, develop, and execute performance test strategies for enterprise applications. The candidate will be responsible for identifying performance bottlenecks, analyzing system behavior under load, and ensuring application scalability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests using Apache JMeter.

Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks in application, database, and infrastructure layers.

Create performance test plans, scripts, and test scenarios based on business requirements.

Monitor system performance metrics using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.

Execute tests for web applications, APIs, and microservices.

Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.

Generate detailed performance reports and analysis with recommendations.

Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab.

Conduct capacity planning and scalability testing.

Support production performance monitoring and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

5–7 years of experience in Performance Testing and Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter scripting and execution.

Experience in API performance testing (REST/SOAP).

Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, web services, and microservices architecture.

Experience in analyzing logs, thread dumps, and performance metrics.

Understanding of database performance tuning (SQL queries).

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

Good knowledge of Linux/Unix commands.

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
