PHP/CodeIgniter Developer (AI-Assisted Development) - Internship

About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop and maintain web application features using PHP and CodeIgniter
2. Work on backend logic, database queries, and admin panels
3. Fix bugs and improve existing modules
4. Use AI tools to accelerate coding and reduce development time
5. Collaborate on feature implementation, testing, and deployment
6. Write clean, reusable, and efficient code
7. Support integrations, reports, forms, and workflow automation as required

2. can work from 8:30 pm - 1:30 am Indian Standard Time (as the company is based outside of India & their local work timings are 10:00 am - 3:00 pm Central Standard Time)
3. can start the work from home job/internship between 19th Mar'26 and 23rd Apr'26
4. are available for duration of 6 months
5. have relevant skills and interests
6. are Computer Science Engineering students

Stipend:

INR₹ 12,000 - 20,000 /month

Skills required:

PHP, JavaScript, HTML 5, SQL, CodeIgniter, Artificial intelligence, Generative AI Tools, Vibe Coding and Cursor (GenAI)

Other Requirements:

1. Good hands-on knowledge of PHP and CodeIgniter

2. Strong understanding of SQL and MySQL

3. Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript

4. Experience with API integration or working with APIs

5. Comfort in using AI coding tools such as Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot

6. Ability to use AI tools for code generation, debugging, documentation, refactoring, and faster task completion

7. Understanding of clean coding practices and logical problem-solving

8. Ability to work independently and complete assigned modules efficiently

9. Good communication skills and responsiveness

10. Basic knowledge of Git or GitHub is preferred

11. Prior internship, freelance, or project experience in PHP or CodeIgniter is a plus
