About the job:

As a PHP Developer at Urja Talents, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge EdTech platform designed to empower instructors and students. You will be part of a dynamic team developing a platform where instructors list courses, students purchase them, and participate in live classes via our in-house WebRTC solution. The platform also integrates email and SMS notifications to enhance user experience. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to backend development, live session functionalities, and cloud deployment.


Key responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development and maintenance of the PHP-based backend of the platform.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform features.
3. Help identify, troubleshoot, and fix issues during platform testing.
4. Collaborate in the deployment process to ensure seamless platform availability on AWS.

Skills required:

PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Laravel, React and Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Other Requirements:

1. Strong experience in PHP development and backend architecture.

2. Understanding of database management using MySQL or similar technologies.

3. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, EC2, S3, etc.).

4. Experience with real-time communication technologies such as WebRTC (preferred but not mandatory).

5. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

6. Strong collaboration skills, particularly with cross-functional teams.

7. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

8. Ability to adapt to new technologies, especially frontend tools like React.js.
