PHP Developer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced PHP Developer with a strong background in the CodeIgniter framework to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of hands-on experience in web application development and a passion for creating scalable and high-performing solutions. You will be working on projects related to our in-house restaurant and supermarket product and service platforms, including online ordering, inventory management, and e-commerce systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to implement responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
• Design and manage MySQL databases, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services such as payment gateways, mapping tools, and more.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and bugs across various layers.
• Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle, from requirements to deployment.
• Ensure code quality through regular code reviews and adherence to best practices.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed systems and modules.
• Contribute to the development of restaurant and supermarket solutions like online ordering systems, inventory control, and digital catalogues.
• Ensure seamless integration between various system components.
• Stay current with emerging trends in PHP development and CodeIgniter tools.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–5 years of PHP development experience, with a focus on CodeIgniter.
• Strong understanding of the MVC architecture.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience in MySQL: writing queries, managing schemas, and optimizing database performance.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with Git and other version control tools.
• Solid knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns.
• Understanding of web security best practices.
• Experience in server-side deployment and basic server management.
• Exposure to other PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with third-party APIs (e.g., Google Maps, social media).
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and payment gateway integration.
• Awareness of UX principles and how they apply to web applications.
• Experience with unit testing or integration testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Docker or containerization technologies is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
