PHP Developer (CodeIgniter)

Overview

We are looking for a motivated PHP Web Developer with a passion for web development, a solid understanding of PHP, HTML, and CSS, and experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS. This role will focus on modernizing an existing CodeIgniter application, maintaining production-level code, and leveraging AWS resources to optimize and scale the application. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to work closely with a Technical Architect, and execute tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Technical Architect and development team to design and implement new features and functionality for web applications.
• Modernize and refactor an existing CodeIgniter application for better performance and scalability.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code in PHP, HTML, and CSS.
• Maintain and enhance the performance of existing production-level web applications.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing codebases and provide timely fixes.
• Utilize AWS services to integrate and improve application infrastructure and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices and development standards, and share knowledge with the team.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development and cloud services.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10-12 months of relevant experience writing PHP code (strictly not for freshers).
• Good knowledge and experience in PHP, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of core PHP and cloud computing principles.
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and improve existing production applications.
• Personal projects or experience on cloud platforms like AWS is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
