PHP Developer (CodeIgniter & WordPress)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive PHP Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in CodeIgniter and WordPress development. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building scalable, high-quality web applications and have a strong understanding of backend and CMS development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter framework.

Customize and manage WordPress themes, plugins, and core features.

Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.

Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability.

Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong functionality.

Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, planning, coding, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2–3 years of experience in PHP development.

Strong working knowledge of CodeIgniter framework.

Solid experience with WordPress (themes, plugins, customization).

Experience working with MySQL or similar databases.

Basic knowledge of version control tools like Git.

(Nice to Have):

Experience with RESTful API integrations.

Familiarity with cPanel, hosting environments, and domain management.

Basic understanding of SEO best practices related to website development.
