About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Team Leader proficient in PHP Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and a proven track record in project management, team management, task creation and allocation, client handling, timeline delivery, testing, and security. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while leading a team of talented developers.

Key Responsibilities:

Development:

• Lead the development of web applications using PHP, Laravel, and CodeIgniter.
• Ensure high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

Project Management:

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from conception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
• Monitor and track project progress, ensuring milestones are met on time.

Team Management:

• Manage and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
• Facilitate professional development and training for team members.

Task Creation and Allocation:

• Break down projects into manageable tasks and assign them to team members based on their skills and experience.
• Ensure tasks are clearly defined, well-documented, and achievable within set deadlines.

Client Handling:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
• Gather and analyze client requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Provide regular updates to clients on project status and deliverables.

Timeline Delivery:

• Develop realistic project timelines and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Proactively identify and address potential delays or roadblocks.

Testing:

• Implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure software quality.
• Oversee the execution of unit, integration, and system testing.
• Manage bug tracking and resolution processes.

Security:

• Ensure the security of applications by implementing best practices in coding and development.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and CodeIgniter frameworks.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Project Management:

• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Team Management:

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Experience in conflict resolution and team building.

Client Handling:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
